Asko sells a short list of 24-inch front-load washers in the US, built heavier than most, with a steel door seal and cast-iron counterweights. On the Logic W4114C, the display shows an Error number and the INFO button spells out what it means, so a visit starts from that text.

Asko's current US front-loaders include the Logic W4114C and the Style W6124X, both with 2.8 cu. ft. drums, 1,400 rpm spins and a 208-240 volt supply; the Style adds a color display and automatic dosing. Asko's US site has also listed a Classic model, W2084.
No rubber door boot
Asko's Steel Seal door closes against steel instead of a rubber gasket. Musty-smell and torn-boot calls look different on an Asko, and the door lock is the first suspect for door codes.
Four shock absorbers
Asko's Quattro Construction uses four shock absorbers and cast-iron weights. Walking or banging is traced through that suspension rather than assumed to be a loading problem.
Aqua Block watches the water
Aqua Block limits how long the washer may take water in, guards against overflow and uses an anti-block drain pump. When E11 or E3 appears, the protection has already stepped in.
The display explains itself
The Logic washer shows "Error" and a number, and pressing INFO shows a text description. Owners can read the exact wording to us before the visit, which saves time.
Parts
Asko parts are ordered by the article and serial number on the rating plate; pumps and door locks are the usual items, and control electronics may take longer to arrive. The plate is read first.
Repair or replace
An Asko is built for a long service life, so a lock, pump or valve is normally worth replacing. Replacement comes up only when the motor control and the electronics fail together on an older unit.
