Not every washer
breaks the same way.

A front-loader seals its door with a rubber boot and locks it for the whole cycle, a top-loader turns its clothes with an agitator or an impeller, and a stacked or compact unit has to be worked on in a tight space. Find the one in your home.

My make is missing from the list. Do you still work on it?
Most likely, yes. The list shows the makes with their own page, not every make we repair. Give the make and model number when you book, and you will know before the visit whether parts are available.
Is a repair more worthwhile on some makes of washer than others?
Less than most people expect. Whether it is a front-loader or a top-loader, stacked or standalone, and whether parts for that model are still made matter more. A common make shortens the wait for parts; an uncommon import can lengthen it.
Where do I find the model number on a washer?
On a front-loader it is usually around the door opening; on a top-loader, under the lid or on the back edge of the cabinet. Take a photo of it, since a single misread character can lead to the wrong part.
The company behind my washer's brand changed hands. Are parts still around?
Often they are. Parts for machines already sold tend to stay available for years after a takeover, and many washer parts — pumps, valves, lid switches — are shared across makes built on one platform. Reading the model number is how the technician knows which of them will fit your machine.
