The washer tried to empty the tub and the water level did not drop in time. A sock or a coin in the pump filter, a kinked drain hose or a blocked standpipe is ruled out before the pump itself.

If your model has a front drain filter, clean it as its manual shows, with a shallow pan and towels ready.
