What E:18
actually means.
E:18 means the washer cannot pump its water out. Bosch lists a blocked drain pump, a blocked drain hose or pipe, a hose that is kinked or mounted too high, and too much detergent.

Check that the drain hose is not kinked, trapped or raised higher than the installation instructions allow.
Drain the remaining water and clean the drain pump behind the service flap, then make sure the pump cover is back on correctly.
Use less detergent on the next load if the drum was very foamy.
Book a visit if the code returns with a clean pump and a clear hose.
