What to do when 1E shows on the washerKind of codeSensor circuit
A water level sensor, a temperature sensor or the wiring to one of them is reporting a value outside its range. The reading and the small air hose to the level sensor are checked with a meter before any part is ordered.

Look under and around the washer for a leak, including small drips.
Check that the supply and drain hoses behind the washer are not kinked.
Run an empty cycle with no detergent and watch for suds; if foam appears, keep running empty cycles until it is gone.
Book a visit if there is no foam and the code continues.
