actually means.
The washer judges how full the tub is from a pressure reading. F3 E1 means that reading is missing or makes no sense, and Whirlpool points to the control unit or its wiring rather than to the house water supply.

A water level sensor, a temperature sensor or the wiring to one of them is reporting a value outside its range. The reading and the small air hose to the level sensor are checked with a meter before any part is ordered.

Watch the fill: if the tub fills normally and the code does not return, the reset cleared a one-time glitch.
