On LG top-load washers, E6 reports a problem with the clutch that engages the drum. LG notes it can be caused by a coin or other small object jammed between the pulsator and the tub.

The control told the drum to turn and it did not turn as expected — a slipped or broken belt, a worn coupler, or a motor or its speed sensor reading out of range. The belt and the connections are checked before the motor.

Remove any coin, zipper pull or paper clip with pliers.
