Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Open the hot and cold supply valves fully and leave them open while the washer runs. 02 Check that hot goes to hot and cold to cold, and that the hoses are not bent. 03 Make sure the drain hose goes 6 to 8 inches into the drain pipe, not deeper. 04 Unplug the washer for one minute; then clean the inlet screens if the code returns, and book a visit if it still continues. ### Still there? If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why does my Samsung washer show 4C on a cold cycle when only cold is connected? Samsung notes the washer may call for hot water even on cycles labeled Cold, so a missing hot hose can bring up 4C. ### Can special anti-flood hoses cause 4C on a Samsung washer?
