Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Keep the end of the drain hose no higher than 3 feet 3 inches (1 meter). 02 Straighten any kinks in the drain hose. 03 Switch the washer off, place a tray under the drain pump access panel and slowly unscrew the drain filters to let the water out. 04 Clean the filters, check the pump impellers turn freely, then refit each filter on its correct side and screw it tight. ### Still there? Keep the end of the drain hose no higher than 3 feet 3 inches (1 meter). If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Is it safe to open the Miele drain filters after a hot wash with F11? Miele warns of scalding after a high-temperature wash. Let the water cool, open the filters slowly and have a container ready. ### Why does Miele say to screw the drain filters tight after clearing F11?
