E21 means water is not pumping out fast enough. Electrolux says the most common reason is a kinked drain hose, and a standpipe taller than 8 feet also slows drainage. Pull the washer out carefully and straighten the drain hose. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### My Electrolux shows E21 right after it was pushed back against the wall. Why? Moving a front-loader back into place can bend the drain hose behind it. Electrolux names a kinked hose as the most common cause. ### Does a tall standpipe matter for E21 on an Electrolux? Yes.
