# Technical team behind the guides.

The washer technicians who show up for the appointments booked on this site. Their writing grows out of machines they have taken apart on laundry room floors, checked against the maker's installation and owner's guides wherever those exist.

## Who writes the guides.

Everything we publish about washers is written by the people who pull these machines out of closets, basements and utility rooms. Most articles begin with a familiar complaint: standing water left in the drum, a tub that refuses to spin, a machine that dances across the floor, or a code on the panel with no clear meaning.

Brands we do not repair and codes no manufacturer has documented stay off these pages. Where an owner's guide or a safety agency says something, we link straight to it; where a point rests only on what we have seen on service calls, the article says so plainly.

Why a washer won't drain, and where the water is stuck

## How a guide is written.

Four rules every guide on this site follows, from the first question to the last revision.

01

### Built from real service calls

Topics follow the problems owners describe when they book a washer visit, together with the quick checks, such as a blocked pump filter or a kinked drain hose, that frequently turn out to be the cause.

02

### Anchored to the manufacturer's documents

Model specifics, installation requirements and the meaning of each code come from the maker's installation guide, owner's manual or service literature, and the link sits right beside the statement it supports.

03

### Agency sources for safety and efficiency

Anything about recalls, electrical hazards, water use or energy ratings is based on published CPSC and ENERGY STAR material, stated the way those agencies state it and linked.

04

### Visible publish and update dates

Each washer article shows the day it was published and the day it was last revised, and we update it whenever a manufacturer or agency changes the source behind it.

## Questions about the guides.

### Who is behind the washer articles here?

The technicians who perform the washer repairs requested through this site. What they learn in the field is compared with the manufacturer's written instructions whenever the maker has published them.

### Does a washer brand have a say in what you publish?

No. We are an independent repair business, and no appliance maker pays for, reviews or approves anything we write.

### What should I do if a washer article looks wrong?

Send us a note from the contact page naming the article and the statement you believe is mistaken. Once we have confirmed the correction, the article will carry a more recent update date.
